As a Manufacturing Technician, Energy Storage, you will play a key role in building, setting up, and running equipment to support the development of manufacturing lines at Redwood Materials. You will work hands-on across mechanical and electrical tools to help validate product performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a lab, manufacturing, or test environment (technician, engineering tech, or similar role)
- Experience working with or around high-voltage systems (400–2000VDC and 480–800VAC) and strong safety discipline (LOTO, PPE, safe work practices)
- Strong hands-on skills with mechanical assembly, wiring, sensors, instrumentation, and lab equipment
- Comfortable following procedures, maintaining detailed documentation, and producing clear test summaries
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work effectively with engineers and stakeholders across levels
- A get-it-done attitude—willing to jump in, own tasks end-to-end, and do what’s needed to support the team
