Associate Estimator

The Associate Estimator will partner with the Outside Sales Representatives in preparing quotations for Municipalities, Contractors and/or Water Treatment Plants, including managing addendums and communicating with sales and customers, and tracking upcoming projects for addition to Bid Calendar/Frontlog.

Requirements

• Work closely with Inside/Outside Sales to determine which projects will require formal quotations and to handoff all project documents during order initiation
• Enters take-offs in Eclipse, works on less complex projects for multiple branches as part of a regional support team
• Generates bids under direction from the OSR without considering pricing
• Prepare detailed and thorough Bills of Materials including all Piping/Valves/Fittings required for the project with concise quotations that can be easily understood by our customers
• Manage addendums and communicate with sales and customers
• Track upcoming projects for addition to Bid Calendar/Frontlog
• Develop a working relationship with key customers
