Job Description
REEKON Tools is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and help bring cutting-edge hardware products to market. The role involves designing integrated tools and devices, rapidly iterating through prototyping and testing, and managing the transition of products from engineering samples to full-volume production. This position offers a high level of autonomy and ownership within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Requirements
- Expert CAD skills (Solidworks preferred)
- Experience designing for high volume manufacturing processes (injection molding, die casting, metal bending and forming)
- Experience in iteration driven product design environments
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Rapid fabrication of mechanical assembly prototypes using shop tools, laser cutting, and 3D printing
