Job Description
Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking a highly experienced mechanical design engineer to lead R&D projects within their Reactor Development Group, focusing on plasma-enhanced CVD reactor equipment and systems. The role involves designing, developing, and manufacturing components, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. They are growing fast and are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design
- Expert-level knowledge in mechanical design for high-vacuum systems and components
- Experience with the design of semiconductor tools, accelerators, or vacuum electronics (desired)
- High proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and PLM (Teamcenter) software
- Extensive experience with various manufacturing methods, including hands-on experience with industrial machine tools
- An optimistic, creative, and curious mindset with a strong desire to be hands-on with their hardware designs
