Lead Consultant: Infrastructure Engineer

Thoughtworks Singapore is seeking a Lead Consultant: Infrastructure Engineer to help clients build and evolve systems that deliver and run software. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and understanding, as well as experience working with cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting technologies.

Requirements

• Lead collaborative design of enterprise and/or web-scale hosting platforms
• Administer application servers, web servers, and databases
• Deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting technologies
• Experience working with software delivery teams and understanding DevOps philosophies, Agile methods, Infrastructure as Code
• History of working with server virtualization, IaaS cloud platforms, and multiple application runtime platforms
• Scripting language proficiency and experience building Linux servers, Windows servers, or container clusters
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, monitoring systems, and observability patterns
