Senior SQL Database Administrator

Role Overview

Augment an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications. This is a self-motivated role on a fast-paced team, requiring a willingness to take on challenges in a collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

Perform database patching and vulnerability remediation, maintain and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments, provide troubleshooting and operational support, execute database patching, upgrades, backups, restores, and routine maintenance, implement and manage database security, and utilize T-SQL and PowerShell scripting to automate database administration.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to work during core hours of M–F 10am–2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• 10 years of experience as a DBA
• Proficiency in managing SQL Server databases
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I
