Job Description
The Batching Blending Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications ensuring customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
Requirements
- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas
- Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies
- Qualified in the operations of all batching / blending equipment in his or her area of responsibility
- Accurately obtains blend tank samples and takes to the quality laboratory for testing
- Maintains sanitation and cleaning of the area throughout the shift
- Effectively operates plant water filtration systems
- Receives and unloads deliveries of bulk concentrates as needed
- Reports all non-compliance, product protection, food safety, and personal safety issues to management when encountered
