Job Description
Refresco Beverages Canada, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Forklift Operator for a 4-month period. The successful candidate will work in a multinational, highly automated environment, with a starting salary of $29.26/hour + shift premium. The position is unionized with a salary increase after 720 hours, according to collective agreement criteria. The candidate must be able to express themselves easily in French.
Requirements
- Respect all health and safety policies and procedures, as well as good manufacturing practices (BPF)
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in the warehouse or production zones
- Be able to use the SAP database via the embedded units (VMU) installed on the forklifts
- Hold an internal certificate of forklift operation
- Perform pre-departure inspections of forklifts and follow safety procedures and operations for replacing batteries or propane tanks
- Clean and maintain work areas throughout the shift
