CNC Programmer II, 1st shift

The CNC Programmer II is responsible for writing programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers. This position requires experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and knowledge of G and M code editing, Macro style programming, and multi-axis function(s).

Requirements

• Ability to write programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers
• Horizontal Machining Centers including Macro, sub program and variable programming knowledge
• 4 axis lathes, 5 axis lathes, Y axis lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers large and small
• Shop Floor" problem solving
• Kaizen participation such as SMDE, VSM, 5s
• Maintain program library's and revision status of program revisions per NADCAP requirements
• Hands on knowledge of the programs storage and the ability to assist shop associates in uploading and downloading programs
