Machinist I-3

Perform diversified semi-skilled machining operations to generate close tolerance parts, adhering to strict inspection requirements and print specifications. Provide instruction and training to other employees and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• Setup, adjust, and operate machining equipment
• Read and interpret drawings, charts, instructions, and diagrams
• Provide instruction and training to other employees
• Maintain close proximity to work area to detect and diagnose machine malfunctions
• Perform inspection of machined products
• Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs
• Create procedures for production processes
• Test new tools and methods
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
