Quality Engineer

Develop and lead initiatives to improve internal and external quality for supported product lines and achieve related targets. Lead kaizen activities, develop assembly documentation, and promote Lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Develop, lead, and implement quality improvement action plans, procedures, and processes
• Maintain technical knowledge in quality and lean manufacturing
• Enforce quality standards and support direct labor training and certification
• Provide project leadership for major quality initiatives and lead efforts to transition temporary corrective actions to permanent corrective and preventative actions
