Job Description
The Quality Technician will inspect product according to specifications and standards, document non-conformances, and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements
- Assist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issues
- Read and interpret the requirements of drawings
- Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method/equipment to be used for product acceptance
- Use inspection equipment (ID/OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance
- Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision
