Senior Sourcing Manager, Mechanical Components

The Senior Sourcing Manager – Mechanical Components leads a team with strategic ownership of global mechanical components, including machined, stamped, and cast categories. This role establishes and drives global category strategy by aligning closely with segment and regional sourcing teams, while partnering with product leadership, operations, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Develops talent and strengthens organizational capability for strategically managing machined categories
• Plans, organizes, directs, and communicates all strategic sourcing activities for assigned commodities and services
• Conducts brainstorming and problem-solving sessions at facilities with cross-functional groups to identify strategic opportunities and prioritize deployment of cost-saving initiatives
• Provides oversight, guidance, and direction to sourcing and project managers to ensure effective deployment of strategic projects with both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborates with global and regional supply teams to identify, assess, and qualify strategic suppliers that align with category and business objectives
