Lewis & Clark Outpatient Surgery - Full Time - Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Lewis & Clark Outpatient Surgery Center in Lewiston, ID. The primary responsibilities of the role include all aspects of processing, decontamination through set assembly, and sterilization and/or high-level disinfection.

Requirements

• Separate and prepare contaminated instrumentation for cleaning.
• Prepare, install, assemble, clean, and sterilize/disinfect operating room or procedure room equipment and instrumentation and medical devices.
• Decontaminate, process, sterilize/disinfect, and distribute medical supplies.
• Inspect and perform functional checks on instrumentation/equipment to assure proper functioning prior to set/tray assembly.
• Process, wrap, and label all equipment and instrumentation for sterilization using appropriate wraps and containers.
• Perform proper documentation as it relates to the sterilization/HLD process.
• Perform all duties relating to daily maintenance for all types of sterilizers/re-processors.
• Communicate departmental equipment and supply needs to appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
