Job Description
Regions Hospital has a full-time opportunity for a Safety & Security Officer to join our team, providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The security officer will build relationships with patients and employees to resolve conflicts and partner with law enforcement to address emergent situations.
Requirements
- Two years of combined experience working in security, law enforcement, military
- Two years of healthcare experience or Fire/EMS experience
- Successful completion of two years of college or technical college course work in law enforcement or criminal justice or healthcare
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Basic Life Support certification required within 6 months of hire
- Basic IAHSS Certification from the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety within 6 months of hire
