Job Description
Join the Xara Palace Family as a Sommelier and be part of a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in Mdina, Malta. Deliver world-class wine experiences and pairings for guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier in a fine-dining or Michelin-starred environment.
- Strong knowledge of international wine regions, grape varieties, and food pairing principles.
- Formal wine certification (e.g., WSET Level 3+, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard hospitality environment.
- Strong organisational and inventory management skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
