Senior Turbomachinery Engineer

Relativity Space is building rockets to serve commercial needs and are seeking a Senior Turbomachinery Engineer to develop the fuel and oxidizer turbopumps of the Aeon-R engine family. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to ensure the development, testing, and eventual launch of the rocket. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with turbomachinery systems
• Experience overseeing turbomachinery development and/or test campaigns
• Ability to perform basic structural, thermal, and/or fluid analysis
• Knowledge of industry standard turbomachinery design and analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of turbopump assembly procedures
