Job Description
Join Relativity Space as a Staff Structural Analyst, Turbomachinery, and contribute to the development of Terran R, a rocket designed to deliver customer payloads to orbit. As a key member of the Propulsion team, you will be responsible for thermal, structural, dynamic, and durability analyses of turbomachinery products, working closely with mechanical designers and manufacturing engineers to arrive at optimal solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field
- 8+ years of relevant analysis experience, preferably with turbomachinery systems
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis
- Experience with fatigue and fracture analysis
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow through
- Strong drive to deliver on ambitious schedules
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards
