Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Editor to join our team at LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, excellent research and analytical skills, and experience in the legal industry. The role will involve editing and publishing content, monitoring legal developments, and working with the team to meet portfolio responsibilities.
Requirements
- Tertiary Education Qualification required, degree in Law preferred
- Legal Research and analytical skills; knowledge of Malaysia and Singapore
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft suites, business software
- Minimum 2-year experience in legal industry, practice experience advantageous
- High interest in publishing and editorial process
- Demonstrable track record in managing projects and deliverables
- High level of written and spoken English skills
- Technical competency XML-based or related content management systems an advantage but not a must
- Working to tight deadlines, adherence to internal standards and metrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management abilities and problem-solving skills
