Manager Data Engineering

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Manager Data Engineering to lead a team of resources in solving complex business needs, overseeing statistical and analytical data analysis, and ensuring the successful completion and delivery of assigned data components. The role requires strong technical background, leadership experience, and ability to work with large language models and various technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data and Scoring Engineering, data management, and data strategy
• 2+ years’ management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering/Computer Science preferred but not required); or equivalent experience required
• Advanced understanding of data engineering methodologies, processes, and process improvement
• Knowledge in normalized/dimensional data modeling principles and their application to complex business needs
• Expert knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems and large complex systems
• Strong proficiency in database technology, design and manipulation, optimization, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating resources to troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues
• Experience working with large language models (LLM), preferably through API integration
• Experience using Jupyter or Databricks
• Experience related to Security Exchange Commission
