Job Description
Software Engineering Lead responsible for leading a cross-functional team, delivering software at scale, and ensuring technical excellence and innovation. Hands-on expectation of 30-50%. Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Engineer delivering software at scale.
- Demonstrable success leading and managing teams through full SDLC to production.
- Strong organisational, planning and change management skills across functional groups.
- Advanced problem-solving ability, able to lead and co-ordinate people across teams to diagnose complex issues and identify root cause.
- Experience balancing product delivery with technical investments (accessibility, reliability, debt).
- Skilled in stakeholder management and communicating effectively at multiple levels (engineers → executives).
- Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
- Proficient with AI-assisted development tools and able to critically evaluate AI-generated output before committing it
