Treater Operator

The Treater Operator works closely with the Conditioning Supervisor, Conditioning Operator, and Plant Operations Manager to ensure all treated and treated/blended seed meets customer quality standards.

Requirements

• Operate seed treating and blending equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and QMS work instructions
• Accurately determine seed counts, mix chemicals, and set application rates to meet customer specifications
• Monitor and verify treatment accuracy through calibrations, inspections, and quality checks
• Maintain seed quality, appearance, and product integrity throughout the treating process
• Complete required quality documentation and maintain accurate treatment inventory records
• Clean, maintain, and assist with upkeep of treating, blending, and related equipment
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to support efficient plant operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
