Accounting Manager

At Remitly, we're seeking a highly driven and strategic Accounting Manager to join our growing Global Corporate Accounting team. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in financial reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration, overseeing key accounting functions and driving continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
• Direct experience supporting external audits
• Experience documenting and testing internal controls
• Proven time management skills and experience with leading projects related to process improvements or new initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
