Full Stack Software Development Engineer II, Post Submit Experience

Remitly is looking for a Full Stack Software Development Engineer II to join their Post Submit Experience team. The successful candidate will design and build fullstack services at the core of the customer experience, using Java or Go. They will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex customer problems into scalable, reliable systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience building production backend systems
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or similar languages
• Experience designing and building distributed systems using cloud platforms, particularly AWS services
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including testing, version control, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
• Experience in translating emerging AI capabilities into practical, high-impact solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex problems
• Clear and objective written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
