Job Description
Renishaw is an innovative engineering company seeking a Machine Tool Retrofit Technician to provide solution-oriented technical and commercial support to customers. The role involves installation and training on Renishaw machine tool products, travel within Canada and occasional international travel, and interaction with market channels and development of relationships with OEMs, end users, distributors and OEMDs.
Requirements
- Field based installation of all Renishaw machine tool products
- Retrofit of Renishaw hardware to CNC machine tools
- Provide knowledge transfer of new software techniques and programming techniques
- Provide customer training of Renishaw macro software and PC based probing software
- Assist regional sales engineers with technical and marketing needs
- Interact with all market channels and develop relationships with OEM’s, end users, distributors and OEMD’s
