Senior Design / Development Engineer

We are recruiting a Senior Optical Design / Development Engineer to join the Encoder Products Division (EPD) at our HQ in Wotton-under-Edge. As an Optical Design / Development Engineer, you'll be involved in the engineering design of optical and electro-mechanical products, including laser interferometer measurement systems and precision mechanical transducers used in sub-micron dimensional measurements.

Requirements

• A degree in physics or an engineering subject
• Knowledge or experience in design and development of optical systems and assemblies
• Possess problem solving and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team
• Practical and theoretical approach to projects
• A valid UK driving license
