Senior Electro-Optic Development Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electro-Optic Development Engineer to join our Development Engineering team at our St Asaph site, responsible for technical risk reduction, technology development, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Education to at least first degree level in Physics / Mechanical or Optical Engineering
• Strong analytical skills and practical ability
• Strong understanding of optical principles (imaging, alignment, aberrations, tolerancing)
• Strong attention to detail and good inter-personal skills
• Confidently liaise with customers and suppliers on product specifications / performance matters
• Success in establishing effective working relationships at all levels
• Drive and proven ability to work under own initiative
• Experience troubleshooting complex optical systems and structured problem-solving skills
