Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Optical Test Engineer to join our Test Engineering team at our St Asaph site, working on advanced optical systems in a high-technology environment, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• Develop, execute, and maintain optical test methods and procedures to verify product performance against specification
• Provide hands-on test support to NPI and production, including fault finding, root cause analysis, and corrective action
• Own and improve optical test equipment, including calibration, reliability, and obsolescence management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as test time reduction, process robustness, and yield improvement
• Interface proactively with Operations to identify and mitigate test-related risks
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and compliance evidence
• Ensure all test activities comply with company procedures, Health & Safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians within the test function
