Senior Data Analyst (NYC)

Rent the Runway is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead high-impact analytics initiatives and manage key data models that describe our customers and business. As a member of the Data Analytics team, you will arm stakeholders with data to measure performance, insights, and drive continuous improvements across the company.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience with large, complex data sets and delivering analytics solutions in fast-paced or scaled environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics...); advanced degrees and/or specializations a plus.
• Highly proficient in SQL, with the ability to write efficient, optimized queries for large-scale datasets.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Looker or similar BI tools.
• Demonstrated experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, and dbt.
• Experience with code management and deployment on GitHub
• Demonstrated ability to lead analytics or reporting projects end-to-end, from scoping to stakeholder communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams.
• Experience working with event data or user/product analytics tools (e.g., Heap) is a plus.
