Replit is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of its core money infrastructure, spanning pricing, billing, payments, and monetization. The role involves building high-converting, localized payment experiences and collaborating with external partners to accelerate execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend expertise
• Hands-on experience building or operating a subscription or recurring billing platform
• Strong system design skills for high-reliability, high-correctness domains like money
• Experience building customer-facing billing or payments interfaces
