Environmental Compliance Specialist

The Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for collecting and reporting data, operating environmental systems, and conducting tests and analysis to evaluate potential environmental hazards. They must work in compliance with regulatory authorities and have knowledge of standard procedures and regulations applicable to the waste industry.

Requirements

• An in-depth knowledge and understanding of hazardous waste operations and maintenance management
• Prior experience in a lead role with responsibility for the implementation and successful performance of business plans
• Technical writing skills for writing scientific documents
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective interpersonal communication across various levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors
