The Environmental Specialist supports the Environmental Manager in collecting and reporting environmental data and operates environmental systems. Responsibilities include supervising field staff, performing public relations, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations relating to air, water, solid waste, and material recovery/recycling
• Good time management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective interpersonal communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
