The Inventory Control Specialist maintains an accurate inventory of hazardous waste stored on-site and schedules waste to the operating units to ensure safe and compliant management of the waste within permitted capacity limits, and maximize waste treatment throughput and cost efficiency through treatment efficiency and scheduling.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in inventory management principles and best practices; analysis and evaluation; and research methods.
- Analyzing information and data and presenting findings in a concise format; addressing difficult situations in a constructive manner; utilizing computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting.
- The incumbent must be detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications is essential.
- Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
