Residential Driver CDL (B)

A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers.

Requirements

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle
• Ability to safely operate a heavy truck along a designated route
• Ability to read route sheet and follow map
• Ability to interact with customers, dispatchers and others in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required
• Ability to continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste
• Ability to clean area around accidental waste spill
• Ability to complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports
• Ability to maintain adherence to required productivity standards
• Ability to follow all required safety policies and procedures
• Good customer services skills
• Good time management skills
• Good follow through ability
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth
