Job Description
RES is seeking a qualified Turbine O&M Technician to support the Turbine O&M Team in delivering projects and implementing improvements. The role involves technical assistance, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements on turbines like those from Gamesa and Vestas. The ideal candidate will be proficient in wind turbine maintenance and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Experienced Wind Turbine Technician
- Technical background in mechanical or electrical systems
- Good analytical fault-finding capabilities
- Knowledge of gearbox inspections
- Experience with Gamesa and Vestas G52 and V47 wind turbines
- Team leadership and co-ordination skills
- H&S awareness
- Valid Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3)
- Experience with working at height
