Design Director, PR & Communications

At Resident, we're seeking an experienced Design Director, PR & Communications to lead the creative direction and visual execution of internal and external communications across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional design experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
• Proven experience leading brand and communication-focused creative initiatives across multiple channels
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in brand systems, editorial design, presentations, campaigns, and visual storytelling
• Experience working within retail, consumer, lifestyle, or agency environments preferred
• Exceptional typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
• Deep understanding of brand strategy, communications design, and audience engagement
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote/PowerPoint, and collaborative design tools
• Experience developing scalable templates, systems, and brand guidelines
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to communicate creative rationale clearly and confidently to senior leadership
