The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical systems on production equipment.
Requirements
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components of production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and wiring
- Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure machinery uptime and optimal performance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Install, upgrade, and modify electrical systems as necessary to improve machine performance or safety
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and solve complex equipment issues
- Follow safety guidelines and company protocols for lockout/tagout, electrical work, and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance and reliability
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new equipment installations and modifications
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
