Genting Malaysia Berhad is a leading multinational conglomerate seeking an HR Assistant Manager - Industrial Relations to formulate and review IR policies, lead a team in managing grievances, and advise line managers on disciplinary actions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Business Studies, or a related discipline, and at least 5 years of experience in Industrial Relations or HR Generalist.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Business Studies or related discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience specializing in Industrial Relations or HR Generalist with working experience in Industrial Relations related field
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959 and current labour law practices
- Ability to handle Industrial Relations matters relating to employee discipline, domestic inquiries and grievances independently
- Strong leadership qualities, negotiation and effective interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage
- Exposure/working in a unionized environment will be an added advantage
