
Job description
The Military Family Life Counselor PRN is a licensed mental health professional who provides non-medical counseling services to Service Members and their families. They partner with Service Family Centers, Guard and Reserve programs, and other organizations to build coalitions and connect resources to support Active Duty, Guard and Reserve families.
Provides face-to-face non-medical problem-solving counseling to families, makes referrals and warm transfers to military and community resources, and tracks services performed and referrals made using reporting systems.
Requires a Master's Degree in a clinically relevant field, a full license to practice independently, and at least 2 years of post-license experience. Ability to work with minimal supervision, use independent judgment, and establish effective working relationships is essential.
