As a Senior Database Engineer, you will work with a broad range of customers on enterprise database design and implementation strategies while applying Esri technology best practices.

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions to support mission-critical applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, configure and maintain database environments, and monitor and tune database performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or related STEM field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in database design, administration, and optimization for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA
• Familiarity with database design principles, data loading techniques, backup and recovery solutions, performance monitoring and tuning, database maintenance, and security
• Scripting skills in SQL and Python for automation and data workflows
• Active or Current (within two years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
