Job Description
The primary goal of a Scribe is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Physician they are working for. This employee allows the Doctor to focus on what is most important, the patient. The Scribe will accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the Physician.
Requirements
- Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the Physician
- Responsible for the operation of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) of patients
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of examination and procedure codes (ICD-9 codes) when inputting into the EMR system
