Job Description
Ikerian AG is seeking a CISO / Head of IT Security to lead security strategy and internal IT operations, ensuring data privacy in the medical device software landscape. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in a similar position, a university degree in Computer Science or related field, and professional certifications (CISSP, CISM).
Requirements
- Define and implement the company-wide information security strategy and roadmap.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across all systems.
- Lead compliance efforts for relevant standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Manage risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response protocols.
- Supervise the procurement and management of hardware/software for a distributed workforce.
- Foster a culture of security awareness through continuous training and policy development.
- Experience in cloud security architecture (AWS) and modern infrastructure tools.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and data privacy initiatives.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
