Paralegal

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our small business finance company in Alexandria, Virginia. The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing and managing loan and small-business financing documentation, conducting UCC-1 filing and search workflows, and supporting compliance with state disclosure laws. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal, a paralegal certificate, and strong drafting and document management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal
• Familiarity with Virginia court procedures in commercial matters
• Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
• Strong drafting and document management discipline
• Familiarity with state small-business financing disclosure frameworks
