The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- A technical certificate or machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- 1 + years of industrial maintenance, such as power transmission/fabrication experience, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronic controllers, such as PLC drives.
- Industrial, Mechanical, and troubleshooting experience required.
- Necessary math skills – Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
- Ability to effectively communicate, write, and read while displaying interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and increase knowledge on known and unknown equipment.
- Ability to work the night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (4 days on/4 days off, rotating schedule).
- Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Willing to climb 100+ feet, work in all weather conditions.
