Senior Scientist, Discovery Biology

Rezo Therapeutics is hiring a Senior Scientist, Discovery Biology to join their Biology Team. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary group to tackle challenging biological questions and develop transformative therapies. The successful candidate will have expertise in cancer biology and experience with molecular and cellular assays, CRISPR-based genetic studies, and cell-based functional assays.

Requirements

• PhD in cancer biology, or a related field with relevant postdoctoral or industry experience.
• Candidates with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 10-12+ years of expertise, including CRISPR technologies and cancer research, are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong hands-on experience with 2D/3D tumor models and molecular biology techniques.
• Proficiency in genetic manipulation of cancer cells, including CRISPR/Cas9, RNAi, and other genome-editing tools.
• In-depth knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving oncogenesis.
• Skilled in performing immunoblotting, proliferation/apoptosis assays, and phenotypic screening assays.
• Proven ability to work independently while fostering collaboration in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
