
Job description
The Underwriting Assistant assumes administrative and corporate tasks to meet departmental objectives, reporting to the Director, Underwriting. The role involves working with reinsurance applications, monitoring queues, and communicating with internal and external clients.
The Underwriting Assistant will receive reinsurance applications, create and set up systems, monitor queues, identify and escalate follow-up requests, and provide underwriter support.
The ideal candidate will have solid time management and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work effectively and collaboratively within and across teams.
