Job Description
The Electrical and Mechanical Data Centre Shift Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of all electrical and mechanical infrastructure within the data centre, monitoring and maintaining MEP systems, responding to alarms and faults, and participating in testing and commissioning of new systems and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 35 years of experience in data centre or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including MV/LV electrical systems, chillers, pumps, and fuel systems
- Proficiency in BMS and CAFM systems
- Experience with LOTO procedures, emergency shutdowns, and redundancy management
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Willingness to work in shifts and be on-call for emergencies
