Laboratory Technician II

The Laboratory Technician II is a technically and mechanically-skilled individual capable of modifying and building prototype product test units and performing airflow, motor heat rise, sound and other product safety tests.

Requirements

• Use blueprints and drawings to design sheet metal components and general assemblies.
• Apply standards-based methods for testing to evaluate assigned problems.
• Operate, maintain, and repair test equipment, instrumentation, and systems in accordance with engineering specifications or defined test practices.
• Write reports covering test conditions, procedures, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Manage electronic communications and assigned tasks and task documentation.
