Rhodium Group is recruiting a Research Analyst to join the company’s China Practice. The preferred location is Rhodium Group’s New York or Washington DC office. As a Research Analyst, you will support the team’s research on various issues of strategic interest to public and private sector clients.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in international economics, international affairs, China/Asia studies, political science, law, or other relevant fields; or a bachelor’s degree in similar fields plus at least two years of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of China’s economy and macroeconomic policies, China-world trade and investment trends, as well as geopolitical dynamics, technology competition, industrial policy and subsidies, supply chain security, and regulatory trends influencing China’s economic engagement with the world.
- Excellent research and data analysis skills with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports of research results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present information clearly and concisely through memos, reports, briefings, and other deliverables.
- Near native-level English writing and speaking skills, as well as high degree of reading proficiency in Chinese.
- Strong proficiency with Excel for data analysis and visualization.
