Executive Chef

Rice University is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations and direct the dining service program. The role involves managing the culinary team, implementing menu and inventory systems, and ensuring food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in a team environment and be comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. This position is essential during campus emergencies.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (culinary arts from an ACF-accredited program preferred)
• 4+ years as an ACF Certified Executive Chef (CEC)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and management skills
